How is a non-profit able to give community service hours? - places to do community service hours
Hello, I'm a non-profit organization-Dallas-Fort Worth area.
I want to be a place where volunteers can achieve a full hour.
How do I do that? Who should I go?
Or can I just contact with the community and ask them to add us to your list?

Contact the local sheriff's office or the Department of Probation and discuss with them the necessary forms. Here in my district, Catholic Charities and manage the program for the Department of Probation. Hiring organizations that need help to explain the rights of volunteers and volunteers from the screen to ensure that the benefits are the ones who can best help. It makes no sense to send a CPA to an animal shelter, it would be better to help fund it to send a senior center.
