Weird taste in my mouth 6 days after wisdom teeth removal? - nasty taste in mouth after wisdom teeth removal

So I had my wisdom teeth is 6 days before surgery and all but one are completely healed. I am still in pain from it. I know that your plug is dry, I went and the Dominican Republic have confirmed that no dry socket, but in the last 3 days I had a bad taste really big departure from the quarry has not healed. its kind of a metallic taste, int last 24 hours has become much stronger and gives me nausea and vomiting, in fact, by the taste. Any idea what is it?

It is the blood. The taste is metallic iron in the blood. When the blood begins to rot and decay, you get a bad taste and probably bad breath. Rinse your mouth with a little salt water for flavor. It will soon cease.

I am not a doctor or dentist - go to your doctor ...

BUT. I have the same thing happens. I have four wisdom teeth in two weeks and just last night I took a bite of apple from my site in the lower left area of extraction (Oops!) And my mouth filled ever with the bad taste of death. I went to see my doctor today and he gave me a syringe with the tip bent to withdraw, and has the color, while I was there. He said everything looks good, and only until recovery. I still have the taste, and so far I have the following tips: Keep clean rinsing with salt water, the body every time you eat found, diluted with water by brushing, followed teeth with baking soda (try today) evening. I do not know how long I can make this taste ... I hope I'm not blasting my colleagues in the breath of the dragon, and I do not eat to avoid the terrible taste.

Long story short: You are not alone! (but not your surgeon to see that nothing is wrong!)
